Shut up.

This morning on my way to work I was listening to NPR as I always do. They had author James Ellroy on promoting his new book Blood's A Rover and during the interview I learned something very interesting. I learned that James Ellroy is an enormous dickhead.

He repeated asserted that he had a great talent and was a brilliant writer. As if that heft dose of self aggrandizement weren't enough he then said that his book was "perfectly structured" and went on to note that he writes for God and Ludwig von Beethoven.

I just thought I would use this space to tell Mr. Ellroy what he could not hear me shouting at my radio this morning: SHUT UP!
