It was 500 years ago today that Henry VIII took the throne in England and began his 38 year reign and his tour de bitches (as my mother might call it) leaving the hearts and heads of 6 wives in his wake.

Oh, I guess I should note that this isn't the real Henry, just the crazy-eyed actor who plays him in The Tudors, Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Along with his infinitely more dashing costar Henry Cavill. Rowr!
